THE STORY
The context.
AWAM starts with a very local kind of internet humor: Burmese dialogue, reaction footage, movie edits, and the community that remixes them. The work grew beyond a meme feed into a place to discover creators, find footage, and connect entertainment with merchandise and affordable digital products.
MY CONTRIBUTION
My role.
Full-stack platform and ecosystem implementation: the public experience, media processing, administration, mobile surfaces, and Telegram workflows.
INSIDE THE BUILD
The details that make it work.
- Vertical reels, discovery, creator profiles, and a searchable meme-footage culture.
- Next.js application with Prisma/PostgreSQL and FFmpeg processing for adaptive HLS playback.
- Native Android and iOS project surfaces alongside web and creator tools.
- AWAM merchandise and the @AWAM_Digital_Store_bot ecosystem, with Telegram-driven administration and approval workflows.
