Myanmar internet culture
THE STORY
The context.
This is the troll website in the collection: a satirical treatment of the public persona “Thakhin Gyi.” It is included as an internet-culture and visual-storytelling experiment, not an official representation or endorsement of its subject.
MY CONTRIBUTION
My role.
Satirical website implementation, character-driven presentation, interactive sections, and visual storytelling.
INSIDE THE BUILD
The details that make it work.
- A highly theatrical profile, timeline, and gallery.
- Burmese-first presentation with deliberately exaggerated visual cues.
- A playful operating-system themed section within the broader experience.
- Clearly contextualized here as parody.
